Trinity Grades

This year some of my students are working on the Trinity Guildhall examination material.  Click here if you want to read about it, although you don't necessarily need to. It's an alternative to the AMEB, similar type of program but more widely recognised around the world and the percussion resources are better.

Not all students will do an examination, it depends on the student.  For those that are sitting an exam, info about closing dates etc can be found here.

I use some the following books. Please check very carefully before purchasing, they all look similar and have similar titles. Don't confuse "grade 3" with "book 3", for example.  You can get these online but I'd encourage you to support the local music store. Optimum Percussion in Burwood have all of these books and are very helpful.
