Buying a Glockenspiel Pack

For those that need to buy a Glockenspiel and practise pad pack:

The Optimum Glockenspiel is a product offered at Optimum Percussion, Burwood. It includes a Student Glockenspiel, pair of drum sticks and glockenspiel mallets, a stand, a practise pad, and a bag.  Cost: $249.

This pack is very good for beginner students.

• The glock has note names on it, which helps beginning students
• The stand can be used to hold a practise pad or glock
• The practise pad is a pretty good one
• The bag seems to be good quality
• You do need the sticks and practise pad, I haven't costed it but I strongly suspect that if you bought all of this seperately it would cost more.

Besides this pack, the only thing beginner students need is their book.
