Exercises - scores
I am making some exercises available at MuseScore.  See my profile for more info. You can download them for free in a variety of formats, and since they are just exercises I would recommend a PDF. More will become available, but for now have a look at:
Technical Work
Music Notation SoftwareThe two most common commercial notation programs are Sibelius and Finale.  Each are comprehensive and professional standard.
I use MuseScore which is more limited, but free, and also Sibelius.

    Ear training
This is an oldie but a goodie: Good-Ear is a free ear training site, which takes through chords, intervals and so on. This is interesting if you want to develop your aural skills, and essential if you're auditioning for a tertiary music course as a drummer.  Go to www.good-ear.com.  Please let me know if you find any other good (and free) ear training sites.

    Blank Manuscript
There are a few sites with free blank manusript to print out.  Having a manuscript book is still handy but these are good for printing out a few pages when you need them.
    Music Stores
The following stores have a pretty substantial range of drum products:
    • Billy Hydes Drumcraft (now Allans Music): Commonwealth St Surry Hills
In Wollongong, Piper's Wollongong Music Centre is the place to find drum gear.

Also Engadine Music Centre has some resources and drum products. I go there for books but that's about it, the others have a better range.
